The first all-day Te Ara o Tākitimu welcoming hui was held for staff and students on the 26 Feb, 2021. This was the final step in the scholarship application process. This is a trade training program designed to encourage more Māori and Pasifika students to pursue careers in the trades.

Guest Speaker Tamanuhiri Russel from Awa Ink, share with us how he cut his own path during high school, tertiary studies and now into the Business world with a successful collaborative from their Awa Ink tā moko studio and art gallery
